Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

“Airship” means Airship Ltd, its employees, agents, and subcontractors.

“Shipment” means all documents or parcels under one waybill.

“Shipper” means the sender.

“Receiver” means the consignee.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By tendering a shipment to Airship, the shipper agrees to these Terms and Conditions available at www.airship.com.bd and at all Airship service centers in Bangladesh.

3. Service Scope

Airship provides courier and logistics services subject to applicable laws and regulations.

4. Prohibited Items

Shipper must not send illegal, dangerous, restricted, or prohibited goods. Airship reserves the right to refuse any shipment.

5. Customs Clearance

Shipper is responsible for accurate documentation and all duties/taxes. Shipper authorizes Airship to act as a forwarding agent.

6. Duties and Taxes

All destination charges are payable by the receiver unless otherwise agreed. If unpaid, the shipper is liable.

7. Routing

No fixed route is agreed. Airship may route shipments as deemed appropriate.

8. Right of Inspection

Airship may open and inspect shipments without prior notice.

9. Shipment Lost or Missing

9.1 Definition: A shipment is considered lost if not delivered within 30 days and no proof of delivery is available.

9.2 Claim Notice: Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery or expected delivery date.

9.3 Required Documents: Waybill copy, invoice/proof of value, packing details, supporting evidence.

9.4 Investigation: Investigation may take up to 30 working days.

9.5 Replacement Service Policy: In the event that a shipment is lost or damaged while under the custody of Airship, Airship may, at its sole discretion, offer a Replacement Service instead of monetary compensation. Under this service, Airship will arrange to ship an equivalent weight of goods, equal to the original shipment weight, free of cost. This service applies only to transportation charges and does not cover: value of goods, customs duties or taxes, any indirect or consequential losses. The service is subject to claim approval and compliance with Airship Terms and Conditions.

9.6 Liability Limitation: Compensation is limited to declared value or standard limit. No liability for indirect or business losses.

9.7 Exclusions: Airship is not liable for: poor packaging, wrong address, customs seizure, prohibited goods, force majeure events.

10. Insurance

Insurance is optional. Without insurance, standard liability applies.

11. Undeliverable Shipments

Additional charges may apply for return or storage.

12. Compliance with Law

Shipper must comply with Bangladesh and international laws. For USA-origin shipments, compliance with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) is required.

13. Force Majeure

Airship is not liable for delays due to events beyond control.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.

15. Right to Amend

Airship may update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
